Job Description

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. With 10 years of experience, the HR Manager brings expertise in strategic planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. They play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, driving employee engagement, and aligning HR strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Management:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Partner with senior management to address HR-related business needs and drive organizational change.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives to meet current and future talent needs.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Develop talent pipelines and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards.
  • Ensure that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent through effective recruitment strategies.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts or disputes between employees or departments.

Performance Management & Development:

  • Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers on setting performance standards and delivering feedback.
  • Design and implement employee development programs, including training, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Ensure succession planning for key roles and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee salary benchmarking, compensation structures, and employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure that compensation practices are competitive and compliant with industry standards and labor laws.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to benefits packages to meet employee needs.

Policy Development & Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that HR policies are communicated effectively and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and grievances in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track key HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, time-to-hire, and absenteeism.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on HR performance and areas for improvement.
  • Use data analytics to drive HR decisions and improve overall HR effectiveness.

Workplace Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure workplace compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations.
  • Promote health and safety programs to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct investigations as needed and manage risk to prevent legal issues.

Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR are a plus.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
